Xixian New Area seeks business opportunities at CCIE

The first China International Import Expo (CIIE) was held at the National Exhibition and Convention Center in Shanghai from Nov 5-10. Kang Zhenfeng, deputy director of the management committee of Xixian New Area, led the trade group to participate in activities including procurement, industrial linkage, project discussion and cooperation signing.

The trade group included more than 100 people and 13 enterprises, covering the fields of cross-border e-commerce, supply chain, advanced manufacturing and foreign trade enterprise parks.

Kang visited the exhibition areas of service trade, medical equipment, medical and health care, smart and high-end equipment, and conducted detailed inspections on the advanced technologies and innovative products displayed there on Nov 5.

In the exhibition area of smart and high-end equipment, Zhen said that Xixian welcomes exhibitors to strengthen exchanges with the new area and achieve more cooperation.

Kang also expressed his hope that the participating enterprises will actively cooperate with exhibitors on strengthening in-depth cooperation in the fields of technology, products and services to achieve mutual benefit and win-win results.

Shaanxi trade group held Procurement Briefing and Contract Signing Ceremony of Shaanxi Province on Nov 6.

At the signing ceremony, Ningyuan New Materials Technology Co of Xixian signed a procurement contract for 6.8 million euros ($7.72 million) of high-end manufacturing equipment with Netherlands' Aircrete Europe Co, which was Xixian's largest signing at CIIE.

In addition, Xixian also organized Xixian New Area Investment Promotion for Japanese enterprises to invite Japanese companies to visit and invest in the new area on Nov 7.

Kang said that Xixian has a profound cultural heritage, obvious location advantages, and unique humanities and tourism resources. He hopes that Japanese enterprises and Xixian enterprises will carry out in-depth cooperation in the fields of economy, trade, science and technology, and culture.
